Date Palm - Phoenix Dactylifera

Phoenix dactylifera is the date palm, a tall, feather-leaved palm with a strong presence in warm, open landscapes. Its elegant crown creates welcome height and a sense of place. Plant in full sun with free-draining soil and allow generous room for the mature palm; fruiting depends on growing conditions and pollination.
