Succulents
Bold rosettes, sculptural stems, and satisfying textures—succulents make it easy to style shelves, desks, sunny windows, and balcony planters.
Choose a single statement plant or mix shapes and tones for a modern, botanical arrangement. Different genera have different needs, so we’ve kept the guidance practical and flexible.
A quick botanical note
“Succulence is a water‑storage strategy: some plants store moisture in thickened leaves, stems, or roots. This trait appears in many unrelated plant families—so succulents aren’t all from deserts, and not all prefer the same conditions.”
Why shoppers love succulents
They look curated with minimal effort—clean geometry, calming greens, and endless variety.
Succulents range from compact rosettes to upright, branching forms and trailing textures. They’re ideal for small spaces, gifting, and mix-and-match planters—especially when you match the plant to your available light.
Best for
- Sunny windows & bright balconies
- Desk planters & compact shelves
- Modern arrangements & gifting
- Low-fuss weekly routines
Selection & care guidance
Use these as starting points—then adjust to your plant’s genus and your home’s light.
Light
Most succulents do best in very bright light with a few hours of gentle sun. If colour fades or plants stretch, increase light gradually. Some types prefer filtered light, especially in hot summers.
Water
The safest method is soak, then dry: water thoroughly, then wait until the mix is mostly dry before watering again. Frequency changes with season, pot size, and genus—avoid keeping soil constantly damp.
Soil & placement
Use a fast-draining mix and a pot with drainage. Keep airflow around the plant. If you’re grouping different genera in one planter, pair only those with similar light and watering needs.
