SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Delivery availability
Scenescape may arrange delivery of plants and horticultural supplies locally, nationally or internationally where legally and practically possible. Availability depends on destination restrictions, permits, quarantine requirements, customs and transport options.
2. Preparation and delivery times
Delivery timelines are estimates unless Scenescape confirms a specific date in writing. Plant readiness, weather, packing, courier availability, transport conditions, permits and destination restrictions may affect dispatch or delivery. Dispatch may be postponed where weather or transport conditions could endanger the plants.
3. Packing and plant condition
Plants may be shipped bare-root, semi-bare-root, potted, trimmed, pruned, wrapped, staked, boxed or packed in a manner Scenescape considers appropriate. Plants are living products and may experience normal transport stress, including minor yellowing, leaf drop, bruising, soil displacement, dehydration, wilting, temporary dormancy, pruning marks or cosmetic damage. These conditions alone do not mean a plant is defective.
4. Address and receipt
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, pin code and reachable contact number, and ensure someone can receive the parcel. Risk passes on delivery to the customer, their representative, receiving staff, courier or transporter at the address provided, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Scenescape is not responsible for deterioration, return, storage damage or additional delivery charges caused by an incorrect address, unavailable contact, inaccessible location or refused delivery.
5. Inspection and delivery claims
Inspect the parcel immediately and unpack it without delay. Follow any acclimatisation or care instructions. Claims for dead-on-arrival plants, major transit damage, a wrong item or a missing item must be sent within 24 hours of delivery. Include the order or invoice number, delivery date and time, a clear description, and photographs or videos of the parcel, plant, roots, packaging and label. Where possible, photograph the sealed parcel and the unpacking process. Scenescape may reject late or unsupported claims, claims caused by delayed unpacking or improper handling, and claims relating only to normal transport stress. If a claim is accepted, Scenescape may offer a replacement, partial credit, store credit, refund or aftercare advice. Replacements depend on availability; rare or one-of-a-kind plants may not be replaceable.
6. International orders and compliance
Customers are responsible for checking that they may legally receive, possess, transport or import the plants in their destination. International orders may require import permits, quarantine approvals, phytosanitary certificates, customs clearance or other permissions and may involve additional costs and delays. Authorities may inspect, delay, return, confiscate or destroy a shipment under destination rules.
