Phyllostachys Aurea - Golden Bamboo

Phyllostachys aurea, or golden bamboo, is a vigorous, upright bamboo with green canes that can become golden with age and sunlight. It creates a tall screen or architectural grove, but spreads by underground rhizomes. Plan a robust root barrier or contained planting area before introducing it to a garden.
